חיים גייר, שנמצא ברשימת Wall of Shame של JCW, מתגורר כעת בכפר חב”ד, ישראל.

בשנת 2013 דווח ל JCW על התעללות אותה ביצע גייר, זמן קצר לאחר מכן כחלק מפרויקט Project E.M.E.S התברר לנו שחיים גייר מונה למדריך במחנה קיץ.

מיד התחלנו בהליך חקירה יסודי בעדיפות עליונה, הגענו ל-4 נפגעים בטווח הגילאים 8-16 שעברו פגיעה על ידי גייר.

בחקירה היסודית והעמוקה שהתבצעה על ידינו התברר שגייר ביצע התעללות חמורה בילדים בזמן שהוא שימש כאיש צוות במחנות קיץ לילדים.

בתום החקירה ובכפוף להחלטת הוועדה החוקרת הוסף גייר לקיר הבושה ולא נשא עוד בתפקיד כלשהוא במחנות הקיץ.

אנו קוראים להורים לנקוט בכל אמצעי הזהירות והאחריות הנדרשת כדי להגן על ילדינו.

Chaim Gajer, who is listed on the Wall of Shame, is now living in Kfar Chabad, Israel.

In 2013, JCW first received a report of abuse by Gajer. Shortly afterwards, as part of our Project E.M.E.S. staff screening initiative, we discovered that Chaim Gajer was to be a staff member in a camp.

JCW immediately launched a high priority investigation and found 4 additional victims, ranging in ages 8 to 16. These serious, highly credible reports alleged that Gajer committed severe abuse against children while serving in various camp and other staff positions. Gajer was subsequently informed that he would not be a camp staff member and he was added to the Wall of Shame at the conclusion of the investigation, and after approval by JCW’s committee.

We urge parents to take all responsible, necessary precautions to protect their children.
