In March 2018, Abraham SIlverberg was arrested and charged with luring a child, attempted rape in the third degree and endangering the welfare of a child. The arrest came after police learned that Silverberg had attempted to lure a teenager to a hotel room, and had previously engaged in sexual conduct with a child under 13 years old. In November 2018, Silverberg pled guilty to one B felony charge of sexual conduct against a child, and two A misdemeanour charges of acting in a manner that is injurious to a child.
