In 2014 Michael Michaeli pled guilty to several charges of indecent sexual acts and molestation of a 14 year old student who attended the yeshiva where he worked. The Jerusalem district court sentenced him to 2.5 years in prison and a sex offender rehabilitation program. Michaeli's risk assessment at the time of his sentencing determined him to be at medium risk of re-offense.
