In 2014 Sholom Pevzner plead guilty in a Beer Sheva court to molesting 4 minors. The plea deal followed a lengthy and drawn out court process, delayed when Pevsner fled the country to the US between the years of 2001 and 2013. Pevzner was sentenced to 45 months in prison. Pevzner was released from prison in 2017 and subsequently returned to Brooklyn, New York.
